"What you see is subjective taxonomy of aesthetics; a catalogue of texture, color and light derived from a sense of wonder and an obsessive need to collect… The arrangements are deliberate, sometimes based on conceptual relationships, other times formal and intuitive. Historically the materials I collect have been used as ornament or as part of a decorative process across continents and the ages. Ideally, the viewer is rewarded for a moment of stillness and close examination."
