Stephen Mark Paulsen

<<< Previous

Considered by many to be the finest wood artist of his generation, Stephen Mark Paulsen first gained recognition for his miniature, hand-turned scent bottles made from exotic wood. Incorporating his sense of whimsy and gift for story telling, he began to meticulously create "chambers" encasing even smaller vessels and inlaid wall “quilts.” These chambers continue to evolve, enhanced with intricate caverns and hidden passageways, telling increasingly complex stories. Occasionally, Stephen returns to his roots to make a bottle collection turned and fit to perfection.
