Carole Frève’s work is instilled with a sense of nostalgia. Combining translucent glass with electroformed copper elements, she seeks to represent “the passage of time, when memories become indistinct and reality is distorted.” Recently, Carole has incorporated small objects into the work: a chair, ladder or swing suggests “memories, happy or sad, that leave their marks on our lives.”
