Toronto based artist Paul Elia has been working in glass for over 20 years. He is inspired by the smooth, undulating surfaces of windswept snowdrifts, and the curving lines and shapes of modern architecture. Viewed from different angles and in varying light, his cast glass pieces come alive as they change in shape and color. “I have fun fooling the eye. What you see from afar is not what you see as you get close to or walk past my work.”
